Elizabeth A. Stone, Ph.D. Stone's career spans from UCSF Research Psychologist, to faculty positions in Child and Adolescent Development. For the past ten years, Dr. Stone has provided educational consulting services to individuals, families, schools, and non-profit organizations. She is also a freelance journalist, and is the San Francisco College Admissions reporter for www.Examiner.com. She uses this journalistic opportunity to gain unique access to high level college admissions officers, professors, and other professionals who work within the college admissions arena. In her column, she helps parents and students across the country understand the complex and often confusing issues in the college admissions. Dr. Stone also is a contributing writer to papers and online media, including J Weekly of Northern California, and The Forward, a national newspaper based in New York. Dr. Stone is on the Board of Directors of NEXMAP (New Experimental Music, Art, and Performance) www.nexmap.org, an organization that provides free arts education in San Francisco public schools.
